2009 Toyota Corolla won't start.?

So I asked a question earlier, some of you have answered, thanks.

Recently replaced my serpentine belt and the car would start and the belt would squeal like crazy. Anyway I finally realized that my water pump was shot. So it took me like a week to get that part. I installed it, put the belt back on, added coolant etc. and turned on the car. It would turn over, but wont start up.

The check engine lights on, the battery light is on and the oil pressure light is on. Checked the oil, it looks fantastic and near full. Pulled the spark plugs to see if we flooded it, they are worn and need replacing but they still have some use in them.

Could this possibly be the battery? My battery was disconnected for a week however the interior radio, fan, lights etc. come on. My battery was going bad though before I replaced my belt. If it was left on with the engine off for a very short period of time it would die. Most days I needed a jump just because.

Suggestion? I really hope my engine isn't totaled. Btw my car has 105,000 miles on it. I drive alot
Pulled my spark plugs, they're dry. The water pump is ran by the serpentine belt. Im pretty sure its not the timing chain, or the head gasket.

give me more details. the belt broke. ur water pump stopped pumping . that means coolant didn't come back to the temp sensor , car probably over heated with out you noticing . chances are your head gasket, any ways try to pull out the spark plugs and see if they are dry. check to see if there is coolant on them or fuel? dry them out and try again. check to see if they are getting a spark.

Good luck.

if you removed the timing belt when you changed the water pump you may have the timing off a tooth and not getting any compression. if you didn't remove the timing belt a compression test might be a good idea anyway if you can do it. at 105,000 miles it couldn't hurt.

I'm not sure on the 09 model corolla but most of the time the water pump is run by the timing belt on Toyota cars.
