2009 toyota corolla le keyless entry?

I have this car and LE is 1 step above basic. Anyway when you unlock there's a beep, beep and when you lock there's a beep. Also, when you open the trunk with the key there's a beep. I've looked in the manual and I've googled. Does anyone know a way to disable the beep so when you press the unlock/lock button, only the lights flash? Or is the only way to disable is to contact the service dept and pay a fee?
Thanks for the info. The beeps don't bother me at all. But I live in a complex and I'm the only car that beeps. There's this man that makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable and he always listens for my beeps. When he hears them, he comes running out to get me before I drive off. It's a habit for me to push the button instead of just manual unlocking. I guess I'll have to get use to using the actual key to unlock the door.
 
there are two wires that pretty much link you alarm system. one wire is for the lighting and the other is for the sound.

if yuo decide to cut off the sound, then that would be fine. however, when somebody breaks into your car, the sound alarm will be compromised and only lights will flash.

so i dont think you should disable your sound alarm. the beep, and beep beep, shouldnt bother you that much. just try to deal with it.
