2009 Pontiac G8 Sedan or 2009 Dodge Avenger SXT?

I'm looking for a new car and it has come down to these two, they are both within $200 of each other so price isn't an issue. The G8 is used but only has 4,000m, the Avenger is new. Please give me feedback from previous owners, or just your opinion on the two vehicles. Thanks so much!

I think Dodge is a more dependable car. my friends had pontiac Grand Ams and they had so many problems. The car sounds like a diesel engine when it gets old.
