Hey guys I just finished a day of car searching and since I work for Ford I am able to get a deal on Mazda's. I checked out the new 2009 Mazda 6 and I was really impressed although I had a few issues.
I love standard transmission but the Mazda 6 only offerers it with the four cylinder engine and that only pushes out 170hp. Now I read that the 170 hp feels as if it is underpowered for the car and that is an issue I had. The care comes with the luxury package, voice activated navigation and blue tooth. I managed to get the price to about $32,000.00 CANADIAN which is about 5000 off the original price.
If i go for the V6 engine I get the power I want but I get horrible gas mileage so I don't think this is an option as I do a lot of city driving.
I am a 24 year old single guy and I just recently moved out on my own so I would like something that has a sporty appeal to it with the luxury of leather, navigation etc... I am driving a beat up 98 civic that is on its last legs and I do some business work with clients.
Is this a good buy even with the lack in power or should I look further and wait until i find a car that has everything I want?
My budget is $35000.00 Canadian taxes in. What other vehicles would you suggest if any? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
