Heres the bachkstory. Its been dropped a few times by the guys wife. I guess he drives a Heritage Softtail and she also wanted a Harley but it proved to be too much bike for her. So now they are trying to sell it to get rid of it and I guess get her a Honda Rebel. Is this a good deal or not and also what should I look for does anyone have any experience on the XR1200? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Good answer polar. I saw it on craigs list. I was thinking more along the line sof a dual-sport but maybe I could make that thing into a scrambler or something. The reason I want a dual-sport is there are some nice trails in the panhandle region I think i would liek to tackle them. oh well 5 more months till I'm home.
