The shootout was great on WUTV-DT. I lost audio coming back from commercial a couple times, but they fixed it up right quick.
I started out on EVu FOX-E (TSN), but couldn't stand the big-ugly TSN2 LIVE in the middle of the screen. And the sound wasn't so good. So, I switched to Buffalo. I suspect the commercials were more entertaining too!
Great Race!! Except that Jimmie Crashed :(

Does any know if BEV will simsub the Fox-HD channel with TSN's coverage?

I do not subscribe to TSN-HD, so I am wondering if that will thwart my chances of seeing it on Fox-HD.

They most certainly did lastnight in the shootout with TSN2 no less. I expect we will see this all year from them.

The past season if it was shown on Fox or ABC you got the Fox or ABC feed, not the TSN version of it. This was for the HD channels only. I'm 75% sure that the SD versions were simsub'd with the TSN version. Not sure if it will change for this season or not.

Can't confirm if the Dayton 500 was that way or not because i didn't have my HD box at that time.

I really don't get how Bell can Legally do this.

Take for example someone that only has the basic package. They are getting a simsub from TSN (A channel they do not get) whenever they are showing a live sporting event that is carried by a US Network.

This is not about Bell. This is a CRTC rule. TSN is more than happy to show you their ads even if you don't sub if you were going to watch it anyways on the US network. More protectionist BS from our nanny state.

I think he was worried about it being blacked out on Fox because he didn't subscribe to TSN, not about seeing it unsimsubbed.

I didn't notice the audio out of sync, watched it on 818 (Fox-E / TSN2) although there was a lot of artifacting happening. I may have missed some of the audio drops or sync issues i was up and down alot so my have just missed them.

I do hope TSN is able to figure out the "out-of-sync" problems they experienced with the Bud Shootout sim-sub...I found it impossible to watch the studio shots

Same here... It was pretty subtle when I first noticed it when they interviewed Smoke before the race, but by the time they got to the victory lane interviews at the end, people were starting sentences after their mouths stopped moving.

Got to love CAnada and how it gets ruled. If you wants to watch Nascar or any other us show on a Us station paid for the channels to watch it on with the Us Adds but when it comes to watching the shows it and it being show on a Canadian channel then that Canadian channel will over ride the us channel so you are force to watch canadian ads that run over and cut in to the shows. Not all shows are done by this but If I am paying for a us channel and want to watch the us adds then I should be able to do that. What Happen to free right. I do watch canadian shows to that are made from canada but what Canada doing to the us shows should not be allowed.

Wow... I had to work yesterday, so I PVR'd the Duels, and just fired it up now. You're not kidding. What a fraking mess.

The Lillydale comment was hilarious, though! :D
