2009 848 Salvaged but need code card

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and have a bit of a dilemma. I just purchased a salvaged 2009 848 from Safari Cycle and am finding out that I need the Code card that came with the original motorcycle.

Without it, I will have to buy a new lock set and instrument panel to the tune of $1400.

So, if you were the owner of a 2009 White 848, purchased from GP Motorcycles in San diego in 2008 that got totaled (Front end and Plastics) by Progressive Insurance sometime in early 2009. Let me know if you have the key card. I have all of the proof of ownership stuff on hand.

I believe you can replace the ECU with a Nemesis ECU for $1,100 to fix your problem and gain all kinds of tuning capabilities.

Hmmm Alway good to have options! I will look into that. I love these forums. No sense in recreating the wheel AND you get the combined knowledge of the forum. Kind of like cloud computing with people...
