I am not mechanically inclined and if you'd be so kind to explain, I would really appreciate it very much...
If you're getting on the ATV from the Left or pull start side, there's a
slight oil leak coming from the bottom of the pull start cover. Is that called the crankcase cover? Anyways, Is there a seal that goes in there? There are 4 allen wrench type bolts that hold the cover on, but they are tight. I would drain the oil, but want the seal or gasket to before I take the cover off... or any recommendations you can give me.
The ATV sat a while and the person who I got it from may of overfilled the oil. Repair info? How to? Is it an easy fix?

1. FIRST DRAIN THE OIL AND FILL ACCORDING TO SPECS IF TI STILL LEAKS THEN IF ITS LEAKING ON THE PULL START SIDE YOUR WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE 4 ALLENS OUT TO GET INSIDE
2. YOU'LL HAVE TO TAKE THE BOLT FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE COG. IMPACT WORKS THE BEST CAUSE IT WILL WANT TO SPIN AS YOU LOOSEN IT AND UNDER IT YOU WILL SEE THE SHAFT SEAL IT WILL HAVE TO BE PRYED OUT (CAUTION DONT DAMAGE OR GOUGE THE SHAFT)
3. EMERY CLOTH THE SURFACE THE SEAL RIDES ON THE BEST YOU CAN
4. LIGHTLY LUBE THE INNER SHAFT SEAL
5. INSTALL SEAL BEING CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE IT BIG SOCKET THAT FITS CLOSE TO THE OUTTER SEAL DIAMETER WORKS BEST
6. REINSTALL THE STARTER COG AND SPACER BEHIND IT IF IT HAS 1 AND REINSTALL PULL START ASSEMBLY

if you take the cover off you should be able to take the pull start assembly off and you will have just the shaft sticking out of the motor and the seal should be easily accessed. it might be a little tricky to remove but the new one will slide right in place of it
