2008 Toyota Prius 30,000 Km vs 2008 Dodge Caliber sxt 30,000km.?

Caliber is $2000.00 less. The caliber get 29/34 mpg while the Prius gets 43/45 mpg. Which one would be a better buy?

This is like trying to decide whether to be executed by firing squad or hanging - both are bad.
The Caliber has chunky A-pillars that create a massive blind spot in your frontal vision, and the Prius has distracting windows.

I'd ditch your delusions and consider a Focus, an Astra, a Cobalt or a Corolla over either of these.
