i had the airbags etc changed in a wrecked corolla... the plugs on the clockspring melted. i cannot get the steering wheel off to change the clockspring. i have another used clockspring for it and was wondering if i could just cut the melted plugs off the old one and splice the wires for new plugs on.... i was told it works on GM but wasnt sure on a toyota.
