I've looked around already but can only find new cars. i want this car for my son who is getting his first vehicle so if anyone can help i would appreciate thanks. i almost forgot, i would prefer a black one but any color is good.

The Evo is a faster car and handles better. But it costs a lot more to maintain. And insurance on it is a lot higher because so many young kids who have one get into accidents and get so many tickets their license is revoked. So I would not recommend it as a first car. Keep in mind that if he's under 18, YOU are liable for any accident he gets into. And it affects your insurance rates too.

The G6 GXP is a fast car too. Although not as fast as the Evo. Maintenance costs a lot less and insurance is not nearly as bad as on the Evo. But it still can get your son --and you-- into trouble. You need to carefully think this over.

Since you only have the two cars in mind to buy him, I'd choose the G6. But like i said, think it over carefully. If he's a minor, you are the one liable for what he does while driving it.

Definitely the Mitsubishi Evolution MR! I'm 18 and I would want nothing more than to have a Mitsubishi Evolution in my driveway.

Major head turner there. Not only that but it's a four door sedan that goes from 0-60 in under 5 secs and beats sports cars costing twice as much on the track.

It's much safer in nasty weather as well b/c of it's state of the art all wheel drive (It IS a rally car you know).

However you might want to op for the Evolution GSR(if your son likes to drive stick shift) as it's available with a 5spd stick shift unlike the MR which is only available with a 6spd dual clutch automatic.

hey im buyin my first car soon im 16. and if i were you i would get your son somthing like the car i want. they arent super costly there are about $18,000. for one with a decsent amount of miles. there $32,000 new. its the infinty g35 2005 to 2007. they are rated the 2nd best used cars. and they are very very nice. quality of a bmw's handling and they look awsome and are very comfy even for long rides.
