1 Side-stand is too far forward and I can't reach it

#2 When you are sitting over the oil tank it gets extremely hot on your thigh
Aussie? say mate, don't be a dill, I don't want to buy a bodgy HD and have a bingle because of the heat burning my leg from the hot oil tank!
polarbear? don't you know using any other brand of motor oil than HD Brand Oil will void your warranty?

unrly 1 ? AMSOIL? THATS BLASPHEMY to any Harley Davidson!
Amsoil is so thin it seeps in between the OD of the case bearings and causes them to spin inside the side case!
If your HD found out you had Amsoil in your bike he would throw you out and VOID your warranty!
never, never, never say the word "Amsoil" when you own a HD!
 
The jiffy stand needs an extension. Amsoil is just fine, HD doesn't care if you use it. I like amsoil and Lucas oil, Royal Purple truck oil is great to. A good oil will make your motor run cooler, but not enough to keep your legs from getting hot. A shield is the only way to prevent that.

By the way, if you can't reach the Jiffy stand you must be under 5'3". Because my 5'3" wife can reach the jiffy stand, of my Road King.
