2008 chrysler sebring headlights?

I have a 2008 chrysler sebring. I was told by the dealer that the headlights don't turn off at all. The only time they are off is if i have the car in park while its on. However, i just saw the same exact car on the freeway with the lights off. I just want to know if there is a way to turn them off while i'm driving?
 
Depends on the years and trim level of your Sebring. You have DRL, Daytime Running Lights. It's a "safety feature" and help make your car more noticeable to other drivers. Suppose to cut down accident. I have DRL too on my Camry but my Switch has an option ot turn it off, some cars is on while driving and off went you shut down it engine. I wouldn't be bother by it because it uses your High Beam at about 30-40%. The Low Beam headlight is not wasted.
