2008 Chevy Malibu, Key gets stuck in ignition?

After about 6 months and 7000 miles, when I turn the car off, the key has been getting stuck in the ignition, and I can't take it out. I often have to turn the car on and off again. I "think" it has something to do with the car not sensing the car is in park (loose handle?). Is this a known issue?

I thought it was the wheel lock as in other chevy's, but it wasn't.

Any help appreciated
 
That is what dealers and warranties are for. Take it in and they will fix it free! Peace.
