2007 yamaha grizzly 450 problems?

My four wheeler has been rolled a few times and it ran just fine but when I tried to go though my swamp, I found out it was to deep and my four wheeler sunk so I pulled it out changed the oil and got it started up, but now it runs bad like it will bog down at full throttle and when it starts bogging down you can't go anywhere unless you pull the filter off and place your hand over the carb to help it suck then it will run just fine for a bit, then it will bog down and you got to do the same thing over, I have replaced the gas but it still does it. I know it's in the carb but what do I have to do to it.
 
Pull off the carb and take off the bowl on the bottom of the carb, let all the the water, mud, etc wash out of it and clean it with carb cleaner, you can find this at your local wal mart, ace hardware, etc. and when you are done with that if you really want to you can take a air hose and hope out all of the remaining wettness, hope this helps
