Hello...

This may be a silly question to those in the know, but please bear with me. I am in the process of getting my S83 Boulevard "storage-ready" for winter here in Canada. I've added the appropriate gasoline stabiliser already, and now the owner's manual is telling me to put about 25 ml engine oil in each cylinder, but there is no explanation of exactly where the spark plugs are or how to get to them! If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

I don't know too much about those bikes; I think they are a one cylinder bike in which case there should be one spark plug at the top of the head. You may have to get pretty involved like remove the gas tank to get to your spark plug. If it was me I would not bother putting engine oil in the cylinders. I mean it helps and all but you'll be ok if you don't do it. By the way, if you're going to start doing your own maintenance, you need to buy a shop manual. The owner's manual does not take you very far.

Thanks so far, guys...

If I could find a workshop/repair manual on the beast I'd definitely buy one. If anyone knows where they exist, please let me know.

In the meantime, if anyone does know how to get to the spark plugs (I do know they have to be on the top of the cylinders), I'd appreciate the feedback. If not, I'll have to be content with dropping a tarp over her and taking out the battery for periodic trickle-charging.

Thanks again!

:plus1: on the storage and plug thing. You don't need oil in there for a few months worth of storage.

I got a manual off of E-bay with instant download. You may try doing the same.
