I agree, I loved 6th sense and the village but Lady in the water didnt seem like it was directed by M. Night at all.

I thought Poseidon was very predictable, and the special FX werent that good so Im surprised its nominated for an oscar.

Maybe its because I grew up with the original but I hated Poseidon!

And thank God so many of you can't stand Kate Bosworth. I hated Superman Returns and she was one of the main reasons.

amen to the kate bosworth part.............if I never saw her again, that would be too soon. I didnt even think she was good enough to be on the wb a few years ago...I wish she would just go away...then again, she almost is...

I have to agree with most of the nominations, and I thought Lady in the Water was HORRID!!!!!!!!!!!!! its time for M. Night to come back down from where ever he was and try again. I actually loved the 6th sense and the village

In the words of one critic, Margot Kidder's Lois Lane was kind of a mess showing everyone that she needed Superman.

So that means that a woman has to NEED a man by being a disasterous and weak basketcase and so if she is actually capable and independant then ohh that man is emasculated and forever shamed. *makes whack off hand movements*

That's why the critics didn't like her performance. Cause most critics are MEN and agreed with this statement.

Now her acting wasn't spectacular but that isn't why they were bashing her performance.

Oh and maybe the reason that Margot Kidder's performance was loopy was because she was NUTS and actually spent some time in a mental hospital.

Sorry that's a touchy subject with me.

I'm all for Jessica Simpson being nominated for Employee of the Month. She truly was awful in it.

I didn't think Kate was that bad in Superman Returns. Her Lois was different to the traditional Lois Lane, but I blame that on the writers.

 I agree on alot of them, expect I didnt think Rob Schneider was that bad in Benchwarmers.

A agree with everything here except the nominations of Lady in the Water... I thought it was great!

I hope Basic Instinct 2 sweeps the Razzie's ;)

I also hope Sharon Stone shows up in person to accept just like Halle Barry did for Cat Woman a few years ago.

In all seriousness, though, a lot of the Razzies are based on jealously and just plain being mean which is why I don't take them seriously at all... Serious in the sense you can poke fun at yourself, but these awards are for people who sit around on their asses all day like Comic Book Guy from the Simpson's trying to be the next Roper & Ebert who wouldn't even last a day in this industry if they were given a shot.

The razzie nominations always make me smile, the things they nominate are funny.:

I loved this category, Ive always loved it.
No real surprises in the nominations, though even though Im not a fan of Kate Boswroth I didnt think shed get nominated, and I was really hoping for Poseidon to get nominated which is great.
I think Ive seen more of these movies than Ive seen the movies nominated for an oscar! :D

Awww, Poseidon wasn't that bad.

I really want Kate Bosworth to win her Razzie. I think she's one of the worst actresses in the last 3000 years. She sucks.
