At the very least I hope their smart enough to make sure that the games that are played on CBSHD and/or FOXHD channels are not duplicated on the Sunday Ticket HD channels.

The question is: "But how much HD do you really get with Expressvu?"

Look at yesterday's transponder loading:
465 NFLH1 Nimiq2/3 TP 18
466 NFLH2 Nimiq2/3 TP 18
467 NFLH3 Nimiq2/3 TP 12
468 NFLH4 Nimiq2/3 TP 12
469 NFLH5 Nimiq2/3 TP 12
470 NFLH6 Nimiq2/3 TP 18

My eyes tell me that this is 3 MPEG2 HD channels/transponder - in other words HDLite

Well, so far, since there are no HD games on either 469 (TP12) or 470(TP18) this weekend, that would make it 2 HD channels per transponder. Just because 3 HD channels are put on 1 transponder does not equal HD lite if only 2 are being used. Please no more FUD.

Gametime and it's still not fixed... not impressed. Very likely I will be calling Monday AM and cancelling my $190 subscription to NFLST.

UPDATE: 20 minutes in and it now finally appears to be working. Go Vikings.

I'd like to know how they plan on securing it. I can't see another card swap and they are basically to the limit on ECMs without affecting the legacy models. Of course I'm not saying they shouldn't try.

San Diego went from looking great last season to completely so-so. Maybe they should have kept Marty. It looks likely that the Pats will be losing a Round One Draft Pick.

The Indianapolis Colts looked good today but that last field goal attempt by the Tennessee Titans was a real nail biter.

I was very happy with all the HD showings today. I hope tonights game also looks/sounds great.

I think that was the year before last year. Last year I didn't get NFLST because they didn't offer the $79 PPV credit.

There is NO debate about this. The game is SD no matter which way you slice it (widescreen or not... and YES it is widescreen because FOX no longer does 4:3). People will tune in and assume their HD sucks a$$ and when they flip it to TSN HD for the very much anticipated San Diego Chargers vs. New England Patriots game, they will all see the DRASTIC difference in picture quality.

So far so good... almost... --> 10/11 HD games confirmed on BEV and there is still channel 469 with information unvailable so hopefully they will put the Miami Dolphins @ Washington Redskins game on that channel.
BEV rep says they have no info about WSH-MIA in HD but said if game is in HD it will show up by game time.

Always a little skeptical about BEV CSR info but in seasons past this has been the case where games have shown up in HD closer to game time.

If it doesn't I will be one mad Redskins fan!!!

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets is always an exiting game (huge rivalry) even more so in this instance since they are both 0-2 and both are in a "must win" situation for the AFC East as the Patriots will be 3-0 after the weekend with the Bills at 0-3 and the winner of the Dolphins vs. Jets game in sole position of 2nd place in the division instead of tied for last place (they can all forget 1st place).

Unfortunately, this game will not be shown in HD on BEV

So how did they secure it?

Just like the Playboy and HD secured by using a different provider ID (905 and 906 as opposed to the usual 901) ??

That's a joke.

There is susposed to be another smartcard revision in the next week, so if it is anything last the previous revision the pirates should be without free tv for 2-7 days.
Old hacked rom 10's are working again too, untill the next rev.

Why does it cost almost double on Bell compared to other providers? I know Bell's version of Sunday Ticket has more HD games but some people may not want HD. Bell should offer a standalone SD package and a seperate HD package similar to that of Directtv.

what kind of crap is BEV trying get away with. because the cin/cle game was on the same channel as the vikings/detroit game, the later game never kicked in till the dying seconds of the 1st quarter. this is bull and I'm getting really pissed with their total incompetence lately. we are all paying for a service (nfl sunday ticket) and they aren't doing a very good job 2 weeks in a row. I can't wait for week 3 to see what screwups will occur then. from a really pissed off viking fan (its bad enough we played the worst game I think I ever seen) skol vikings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well according to the description it now says you can purchase the day for $24.99. Problem is I have bought the package. Looks like they have 17 hours to sort this out or they will be getting a mass of calls Sunday afternoon.

This kinda sucks for those of us who want to set timers... hope this isn't handled this way each week. I am often not home Sunday @ 1:00 to start recording. As well... if they set it up as a $0.00 PPV purchase that would also suck because I don't have a land line and all the PPV events will start racking up on my card.

Turn on your indoor antennas, then you can catch all HD nfl games from NBC & Fox free + legal! OTA stations are free when you live close enough to the USA border. :p
