2007 Honda Fit or 2007 Hyundai Elantra?

I am purchasing a vehicle this Saturday at a dealer but can't decide between the Fit or Elantra. They both have pros and cons but are about even. Does anyone have any experience with these vehicles?

2007 Honda Fit Sport, AT, cruise, power doors/locks, 28,420 miles $13,600. 9 months left on bumper to bumper warranty.

or

2007 Hyundai Elantra GLS, AT, cruise, power doors/locks, 29,495 miles $12,488. 2.5 years left on bumper to bumper warranty.

Both have clean 1-owner CarFax reports.
 
I would take the Honda with no reservation about the warranty difference. When it comes to MPG, overall quality, safety, and resale value there is no comparison between the two vehicles. I would try to talk them down to about 13,200 however.
 
I own a 1998 Hyundai Lantra 1.6 GLS and it is as good as new. It is a great car. Elantra is only different from mine on the outside, and that one is also a lot younger. But i tell you from experience: it's a very good car.
