2007 honda civic sun visor cracked and wont go back up..?

i have a 07 civic and the passenger side sun visor has randomly cracked open and it wont go back up. i am afraid to mess with it cause it might get worse. i am also hesitant to put driver's sun visor side down, for that it may also crack open and not go back up properly. i was wondering, if this is covered in the warranty?
my car has 34,000 miles.
 
misc body/interior panels normally are not covered in warranties... that said your only options are to either deal with it or get a new one off from somewhere.
they are simple to replace, 1-3 screws and maybe a connector to unplug, installation reverse of disassemble
