disengaged from the gear? It's a manual transmission but even when I go backwards while in neutral it makes the noise. It sounds like something is mechanically rubbing. Also when driving forward at 5-15 mph it makes a slightly audible squeal that sounds like metal on metal (almost like a lathe). Any ideas? This seemed to occur right after i had the oil and transmission changed at a shop.
