i"ve been looking up information about the 2 but generally don't get what i'm looking for. I'm trying to find out about fuel efficiency. the i4 is 24-34, the v6 is 21-30 mpg or something really similar to that. I originally was about to purchase the i4 but it was sold from under me. Now what they have available is a v6 vtec engine. I'm a conservative driver. I don't really care about passing people all fast....the car salesman says that bc of that i'd probably end up getting the same gas mileage no matter which one i got. something about the v6 only using 3 cylinders when driven at constant speeds. Is this true?? are there other reasons not to buy the v6?
