Best Animated Program Less Than An Hour: South Park (Make Love, Not Warcraft).

Best Animated Program One Hour or More: Camp Lazlo (Where's Lazlo?)

As for the Music and Lyrics category (which Family Guy had a nomination for), the award went to SNL for the "***** in a Box" song (that or the Poo song from Scrubs definitely deserved the award).

How in the world do ANY of these cartoons good examples of animation? Oh well. :/
I have always been curious of how those judges decide what makes a good cartoon...

^ I'm curious...why don't you think they're good examples of cartoons?

Poor Foster's got snubbed. I would've liked to see "Good Wilt Hunting" win.

I haven't seen that South Park episode but I heard it was hilarious. I liked the Simpsons' nomination, though. I thought "The Haw-Hawed Couple" was a pretty good episode.

South Park is a poorly drawn(and written) show. No offense, just my opinion. Camp Lazlo is okay, but I don't excactly consider it Emmy material. I prefer Joe Murray's earlier work, Rocko's Modern Life.

Yes, South Park has poor art, but I guess that's kind of it's appeal. The writing, IMO, isn't too bad though. It can be quite clever and funny at times. I agree with you on Camp Lazlo, though.

Robot Chicken had no reason for being nominated. It's a horribly sloppy show that fails on delivery, animation and acting. Aqua Teen Hunger Force had more merit for a nomination. A poor move indeed, thank god for South Park.

Crap.

I was really pushing for Avatar to win it in the half hour long category. I do admit that that South Park episode was pretty funny.

Oh, I thoguht they had a banner for winning an emmy last year along with Foster's or somethin like that..

coconut_buyer, it deserved it more than South Park. They put so much work into RC
