2007 dodge magnum wont start?

Turns over really slow. When it does start it wont rev over 2grand.I can turn off the car and start it again and it will be fine. until I drive it and let it sit, then it will do it over. switched out the battery and now it wont turn over at all. everything is connected. I have switched out batteries before. Help. love my car but don't want to get rid of it
