This is a question i will admit i'm biased on the dodge caliber would be my choice it has a good fuel economy i like hatch backs and i do not like chevy's. however if you don't like hatchbacks and would like a enclosed trunk that some unwanted ppl can't look into you could get the cobalt. i have ridden in both and it may have been the model but the caliber had a nicer interior and more room but if u are interested in upgrading your vehicle the cobalt has many more options then the caliber.
