2007 C90T Hard Start problem

Hi, I have an '07' C90T that is hard to start after sitting with a low fuel level in the tank. I can ride it to work but after sitting for 10 hours I have to crank it quite a long time before the engine will start. Does not seem to happen if tank is full. Took it to my local dealer and of course it would not happen while there. Is there a check valve in the fuel injection system that could be letting the fuel drain back to the tank? Any help is really appreciated. Bought this bike new and the problem is relatively new.

You may need a decomp valve adjustment. The next time it seems difficult to start do not continue to crank it. Put the bike in 2nd gear, roll it backward while sitting. Now try to start it and if it pops off right away it is most likely the decomp valve.

good find...
my mom's boyfriend bought himself an intruder 1500lc (1400 maybe?), the precursor to the C90... same kind of problem...
i'll have to run through and figure out what's causing it.

Rode it to work yesterday and it did start but kind of slow. Now that you mention it,,,,When I do have the problem it does sound different while cranking. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that next.
