my 2006 dodge stratus died while i was driving, was told it could be timing belt. the engine will turn over but won't start and it makes a whining sound when turning over. It has 140,000 miles on it. I purchased it used and it had 65k miles on it then.
A new battery was installed on October 31, 2010, so I wouldn't think that it is the battery.
