My dodge does this when it is hot and sits for a while , when i start it , it takes a bit for it to fire. 3-4 seconds. it bothers me any idea on how i could fix this 79000kms

Well one main reason it could take time to start regardless what type of vehicle is simply rust or corrosion at the fuse box , power junctions , battery posts, alternator , starter , engine block ground post and all grounds etc.One way to make sure it starts easy is to clean these connections one by one with a wire brush , sandpaper etc , plus be sure the vehicle has a clean gas filter , clean air filter , tune up, also be sure the starter solenoid or starter isn't worn down.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way you'd be surprised exactly how much and how many ways cleaning those connections etc will help that vehicle.

Note if that vehicle has been subjected to extreme temperatures or weather then for sure start with cleaning those connections, also if you've had to start that vehicle a lot daily and not driven at least once a wk on the hwy for a good 15 mins or so I'd be thinking the battery could be slightly weak on it too.Just remember that any vehicle over 5 yrs old etc will have corrosion or rust issue in the charging system , also an invisible dust builds up that you can only see once you get it on your fingers.
