i checked out this really good perfect bike. the owner said that he has a lien on it. he said he paid the loan off three years ago but never really got the title back. he showed me a letter from the company saying that he will get the clear title back in a week. he didnt use the bike. only 3k miles. that's why its in perfect condition. he said he'll call me after he gets his title back. i think its a great deal for the price but i dont want to get stuck with lien or something. he said we will go to dmv and transfer the title. he is in PA and he is willing to drop the bike off here in NJ where i live. if the dmv says the title is clear a week from now, is it safe for me to buy the bike from him then?
