2005 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 problems?

I bought this used car about 5 months ago now and have lately been experiencing loss of control in the rain. I have so far slid into a guard rail on a slow winding road, spun out of control starting from completely stopped making a left at a light.

The dealership never mentioned there is anything wrong with the vehicle and the CARFAX report shows no signs of problems.

Everytime it rains I'm afraid I'm going to slide right off the road.

The tires are still in excellent condition and are all weather tires.

Prior to these 2 incidents there have been no incidents in the ownership of this vehicle. Perhaps the dealer sold me a faulty Jeep. I didn't buy it from some run of the mill dealer either. I got it directly from a Chrysler/ Jeep dealer and its suppose to be certfied.

With any luck they did infact sell me a bad car and I can get all my money back. Problem is I traded in a car and so far have paid $1200

They gave me $1500 for the trade in so I suppose best case is I get $2700 back which I can use to make a down payment on a new car.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not worried about a lawyer because I work for one. But how can I find out if the vehicle is defective?
Neither time was on the breaks. And to the second responder "Are you dumb I have brand new tires and these things are $300 a pop it aint the tires I got the 3rd best tires you can put on a Jeep for traction control"
IF ANYONE SAYS ONE MORE THING ABOUT THE FREAKING TIRES I'M CLOSING THIS DAMN QUESTION. IT IS NOT THE TIRES
