My car stopped working out of nowhere. Its been starting up fine, no prior problems with it. I drove to work this morning, then drove home. I ran into my house to grab some things before heading out again. I get back in my car, put the key in the ignition, and my car wont start.
The lights on the dash light up, interior lights turn on, radio turns on, but my car wont start. My window was down, so I tried to roll it up. It was slow, but it went up.
The other thing I noticed was that when I tried starting my car and put my foot on the brake the lights on the dash would flash and I could hear a clicking noise that sounded like it was coming from under the dash on the passenger side.
I had my uncle come by and take a look at it. He cleaned my battery off to see if that would help, still nothing.
I'm thinking I just need a new battery, but after doing a google search I'm concerned it may be something else. I'm going to have AAA come and take a look and go from there, but I was hoping someone who's experienced this, or who knows about cars might be able to give me a little insight on what's going on with my car.
