...Accurate MPG? repairs/mainten? I am currently researching a possible purchase of a 2005 ford escape XLT sport. Fwd, 3L, V6. Online estimates of MPG are 18/22. Most of my driving is freeway, 80%. How accurate is this report of MPG to what you get with this vehicle. Please let me know the good, bad, and ulgy for this type of vehicle? I have never owned a Ford so I do not really know what to expect with the typical repair stuff. THANKS!
