I own a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT and it's been acting really weird for a few months now. Whenever I start it up it drives fine, but if I drive it for 30 minutes or more it goes into 1st gear (limp mode) and will stay in that gear until I turn the car off and let it sit for a few minutes. My guess is that it's the transmission cooler and my dad thinks it's a solenoid, but what do you all think? Thanks. Points for the best answer.
