I love this car and intend to purchase one this summer or sooner. I would like feedback if you have one, had one, or had worked on one. Any or all experiences with this car.

Thanks for your input.

They're based on a mercedes roadster from the mid 90's, so they're pretty old technology at this point. I think they look really cool, but I'm not sure about their reliability.

The SRT-6 is a really nice sports car. I prefer the convertible because it has a little more headroom, and the x-fire coupe interiors are a tight fit. There was a show with Tom Kendall, the former Trans-Am racer, where he tested all of the SRT cars. The SRT-6 (about 360-70 HP) was beaten off the line by the more powerful SRT-8 (425 H.P.) 300C, took the lead in the corner and never gave it back. It handles well and is relatively trouble-free mechanically. The interior trim I find disappointing, some of the plastic door pieces peel their chrome. The radio, save it for when you restore it, go get a better aftermarket one. The price now is well below a Porsche boxster but gives you more punch. Tires are pricey and if the previous owner enjoyed the car, the rear ones will be worn out ($250-300 each). The fixed "whale-tail" spoiler I think is better than the stock x-fire speed activated spoiler. The auto trans sometimes develops a leak at the electrical plug connector but it is an inexpensive fix. Check out crossfireforum.com for contact with other owners and information.
