So I need to replace the tires on my chevy equinox and the current tire size on it is 235/60r17 and i found a nice set of used tires that are 235/65r17. So as you can see the only thing that will change is the sidewall spec. I looked it up and it will increase sidewall by 1 inch. Thats adding one inch total the the diameter of the tire. I just want to know if this will work and not mess anything up? This vehicle is an SUV and there is already alot of wheel well clearance so I dont think there will be any rubbing issues but Im not sure. Do you think there will? Or do you think there will be other issues with doing this. Another thing I wanted to mention is that it is AWD so the last thing I want to do is mess anything up. Please be specific with your answers and let me know where you are getting your information for your response. I dont just want opinoins, I want facts. Please help!
