2004's Chevy Silverado or Dodge Ram?

half tons. I am wanting to buy a truck along this year. and I am debating between a chevy 4door with the 5.3. or a dodge witht he 5.7. How would you compare these. as far as mpg, get up and go. pulling. smoothness of ride and anything else?
 
According to all car magazines and tv shows that tested these trucks, the Chevy is best.
