I have a very perplexing problem that has recently developed when I attempt to fill my car's gas tank. About a month ago, I noticed that the gas pump at the station would shut off, as if the car was full, while I was still filling the tank. The problem has worsened to where I have to pump the handle of the gas pump about every 4-5 seconds to get the car to fill completely. Have you ever heard of anything similar before, or do you have any ideas on what could be causing this? Please help!

When the pump clicks off I can actually hear a bubbling noise coming from the inside of the tank, as if air is trying to escape. Have you ever heard of anything similar before, or do you have any ideas on what could be causing this? Could this be the vent line or the tank?
