i have a 2004 monte carlo SS, it has the car stereo that controls the reset for the oil and horn and fob and tire monitor. It has the steering wheel volume control and channel change yada yada, also i have a 200 watt amp in the trunk that is factory. also has onstar and built in phone but i dont use them. so i want to upgrade all my stuff but ive never delt with something like this (more use to older cars) i m used to buying a wire harness kit and hooking up an after market and rolling. I want to take out the stereo head .. but dont know where that would put me with the factory amp. anyone know anything about this?
