2004 Jeep Liberty fan does no work until I set fan speed on 4 in dial.?

I just recently had an oil change and my fan was working fine on all settings prior to the service, when I tried to use the a/c noticed
the fan wasnt going on til I placed the speed on the fastest setting
which on my jeep is 4. So now if I want to use it I have to use it at full blast to work. Any input on why this is happening?, and how
can I check this problem. Out of warranty so any help will be
appreciated.
 
it sounds like a lose connection.. it would cost more for labor to fix than to bear it being so high.. i wouldn't worry about it..
