2004 Honda Recon fuel/spark problem?

I have a 2004 Honda Recon, Manual, 2WD.
When I push the throttle all the way it stutters and dies out.
If I barely push it, it will rev as far as I'm pushing it, but no higher than just a tad.
Now, what I do, I pull the choke all the way and rev it really high for a few seconds, then it's ready to go for another 30 minutes..

At first I figured it was an overheat problem, but you know I'm just not too sure now.

Should I buy a new spark plug or what should I do, it's extremly annoying, and this isn't my fourwheeler.

It is a problem with your air fuel mixture adjust your idle screw and you should be good to go. By pulling out the choke you are starving your engine of air and have with more gas. Start it up turn the screw to the right until the engine almost dies then turn it to the left a half turn, see if that solves your problem. For more help visit www.thejdmresource.com
