2004 Ford Mustang Engine Swap Information.?

I got a incredible christmas present this year, a 2004 Ford Mustang Convertible with the 3.8 V6. This car has everything in it, leather, 6 disk CD, power everything..... But it is the V6 and is slower then I was thinking it would be. My V8 Raider outruns it easy.

What I am curious is generally how much labor is involved and how much does need to be switched out to put the 4.6 Liter V8 under the hood. I know the motor, tranny, and rear diff probably all need to be replaced along with the computer and fuel pump. Is their anything else that would need to be switched over that I am not thinking of? Or is it just was to much work and labor cost to bother? Also, would the fact the V6 only has 31,000 miles on it make it offset the cost of the V8 if the shop would take motor trade in's?

As for trading in the car for a new one, it's to sentimental to do that.

I would love to find a Mustang Mach 1 motor to put in since it made more Hp then a standard GT.

Thanks.
