2004 chrysler sebring?

2 questions......Where in the world is the battery ??? Is it by the air filter comp??? #2 I was checking all connections on the car and in doing so, the check engine light came on. If I disconnect the battery cables, will it reset the light??
 
remove it through the hatch in the wheel well.
Turn wheel fully left.
Disconnect terminals.
Remove the panel from the left wheel well.
Remove the battery hold-down
 
Drivers side wheel well. In the front bumper. There is a cover that has 7 quick release pins on it. Turn the pins and remove the cover. you'll have to turn the wheel, to get enough room. Yes when you disconnect the battery the check engine light will reset.
