The truck jerks when it shifts from first to second. the slower you go, the harder it jerks. it has 126,000 miles but has been doing this for a while. i had the u joints replaced recently, but it wasn't done professionally so it might have not been done right. Does this sound like a u joint problem or something more serious?
2. I want to start maintaining the truck at about 126,000 miles what should i be doing? i got engine cleaner and fuel injector cleaner but what other simple things should i be doing...shocks, spark plugs, etc.
3. coming from someone who knows for sure, how much would it cost to get it painted? it is a crew cab, and i would want a somewhat decent job. it has a bunch of dings that im planning on getting fixed and since its hard to perfectly match the color, im planning on getting the whole thing painted. it is maroon and i either want to get it repainted the same color or painted black.
