2004 chevy cavalier: the lights at the gearshift don't work ,all fuses are ok,wants

wrong? some of the cd/radio lights don't work, and when the door is open and lights on with key in ignition, the warning bells don't come on. All fuses are ok , WHAT IS THE RELAY ,
