driving in 1st gear and more.? When you are moving slowly(approx. 10 mph), and you move the gear lever into 1st or second, something seems to sound like its rattling and bouncing (specifically, it sounds like a ball bouncing on a metal surface 2 or 3 times). This only happens while moving. Also,when you are releasing the clutch when going into first gear and suddenly depress the clutch to cancel the engaging of the gear, the care rattles for a short time. To be specific and more clear, the car doesn't physically shake, it is just a loud noise that is heard from inside the car. The sound while driving slowly sounds like the clicking of a kitchen stove igniting. This car has about 140,000 miles on it. Never had any problems until now and is still on its first full transmission. This car isn't abused or driven roughly and is mostly driven in city conditions. Please do not post any answers that will not help or criticize, this is just a simple diagnosis before I have it inspected. Thank you in advance.
