The car has been great with the exception of a warranty oil pan gasket. In recent months it has started smoking, blue smoke, on start up. It looks like a lot of smoke to me but it burns very little between changes, maybe 1/2 Qt. between changes 4-5000 miles. It has recently passed a smog test, Nevada. The car has only 55K on it. Anyone have any thoughts? I know that this is a classic symptom of bad valve guides or worn valve seals, but the car (bought new by me) has very low miles for this prob. The engine may be warranted till 60K but I think it is timed out 7 yrs Right?
