Front pipe is completely blued, rear pipe looks normal. Fuel Pump seems to be working just fine. I throughly cleaned the carbs, The bike runs fine. But Backfires when shut off. Plugs are completely WHITE! I bumped up the jet size +5 steps. This made the bike have a ton more power!, but still little to no color. I'm running 92oct Non-Eth.
Please help!

Why are you running 92 octane? Go to 87 and don't be such a newb. Of course it's going to run like junk if you can't burn such a high octane in such a low-tech engine. It's backfiring because of the unburned gas in your exhaust after you shut it off.

This question could be answered better at the Intruder Alert forum. I get lots of useful information about my Intruder 800 there.

This forum deals specifically with Suzuki Intruder and Boulevard motorcycles. Most of the people there are Suzuki owners. You will find this forum a little more friendly. There is a section that deals specifically with re-jetting the carburetors on the VS1400

You didn't mention if this engine is completely stock or if it has modifications. The Intruder is very sensitive to any exhaust or air intake modifications. When posting your question it is important that you list any modifications made in these areas. This will save time.
