2003 Nissan 350Z; good first car?

I'm looking for a car to purchase as my first car. I absolutely love coupes and cars that are sporty/sleek. A used 2003 350Z fits my dad's budget of about 13-14k maximum. I know the insurance is going to be a bit more just because of the car, but I'm going to be paying the extra of it.

Would this car be a good first car?
