2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Tomb Raider?

I removed the plug under what I think is the heater resistor and it is melted on one side, but this is also the plug that if I jiggle it the blower kicks on and off. Is this what moparman is talking about or just another problem that has to be delt with???
 
Replace the connector and be done with it, unless it appears the resistor caused the damage then replace both.
