2003 honda civic oil look like it is low or none.?

I checked my oil and i pulled the dipstick out and wiped it off then put it back in and pulled it back out. It almost looks like there is like sploches of oil on the stick. My oil light never came on though so i don't see why there would be no oil. Anyone have any answers?

Did you wait a while before checking the oil dipstick? Usually if you check it right away after you've turned off the engine you wont get an accurate reading.

If you checked it cold it might have given you a false reading. Start the car up and let it sit and run for a few minutes and then shut it off and let it sit for a few minutes and then check it. If it still looks spotty, add about 1/2 a quart, give it a minute or so to drain to the bottom and check it again.

Hmmm...if ur low on oil and ur oil light didn't come on..maybe ur oil sensor is wonky. I would have that checked out.
